- Remember what teachers did to get you to do
homework? Give a specific assignment with a due date and remember to
collect it, grade it and give it back. Never give an assignment without
a due date and use snap quizzes to measure progress.
- Stick with questions. Rigorous questions
that define an issue exhaustively usually turn up an answer. Be patient,
don't quit on the questions too soon.
- Take little steps, but lots of them. Do
things on a small scale to make sure they work. They'll be plenty of
time for big announcements later and small experiments are a lot easier to
sell than big initiatives.
